Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for two spectacles; the tree-climbing lions along the branches of Acacia, and the tree-climbing pythons nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Upon passing through the forests and entering the gates, visitors immediately see troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The park covers over 390 sq km and includes more than 400 species of birds, flamingos, pelican, storks, cormorants, and Egyptian geese. There are also huge herds of buffalo, elephant, Impala, giraffe, hippo and smaller animals.
